Copywriter
The Retreat: SF, in partnership with the Rugged Elegance Foundation, is a soulful incubator clothed as a regenerative retreat bringing clarity, alignment, and capital to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and women leaders who are working to increase physical, mental, and spiritual resilience to their communities and beyond.
We are searching for the freelance/part-time copywriter who will write our radically inclusive copy that welcomes diverse audiences of traditionally marginalized leaders, change makers, and visionaries and inspires organizations with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion commitments to support our work.
You will work with our small team to:
Create a comprehensive brand voice and style that is radically inclusive and ever changing as the language of inclusion evolves.
Conduct sensitivity readings on and edit existing copy across our websites, emails, one-pagers.
Write and edit new copy for updated website(s), email nurture series for guests, sales and marketing materials for potential partners and donors, videos scripts, and other one-off projects with an eye to inclusion and SEO.
Keep our organization at the forefront of language changes.
You will be a good fit for this job if:
You are a strong communicator not only in your customer facing writing but in your communications to your team and colleagues.
You have experience writing for diverse and traditionally marginalized audiences
You like to work in collaboration with a passionate team.
You are ready to iterate as needs change.
Compensation:
$50-60/hour
